Gaza – Ma’an – Israeli forces at the Erez crossing prevented 5-month-old infant from crossing into Israel with his mother and five-year-old sister, who was given permission to receive medical treatment in Israel.
The three arrived at Erez so five-year-old Maria could seek medical help in Israel after Gazan doctors were unable to diagnose what is behind the child’s chronic fevers. Maria’s mother took the five-year-old and her five-month old baby Tamim to Erez so she could continue to care for the child as his sister receives treatment.
